Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Fireboy DML has informed fans of what he misses about his stage performances.

The ‘Playboy’ crooner revealed that he usually makes eye contact with ladies while performing at shows and events.

Fireboy’s last performance on stage was in July 2022 at the Wembley stadium, which was a historic moment for him.

According to the YBNL act, he longs for a time that he would relive such experiences where he also gets to look into the eyes of ‘people’s girlfriends’.

In a post on Twitter, he wrote; “I miss being on stage, singing while making eye contact with people’s girlfriends.”

He added; “One day we’re going to have a conversation.”

Meanwhile, the Headies awar winner had earlier made clarifications that he is not a playboy as being widely believed.

Speaking in an interview with media personality, Ehiz on Apple Music Africa Now, he explained the idea behind his new album title, “playboy”.

The singer who recently released his third studio album named Playboy, issued a disclaimer that he is not a playboy.

According to Fireboy, he gave the album that name to pass a message that he is about to come out from his shell, play and have fun like never before.

He noted that he’s been shying away from it in the past three years of his career, but now he’s set to step into the superstar element.

In his words; “I want to put a disclaimer, it is not the kind of playboy everybody thinks. It is just a young man that decided to come out of his shell to play, to have fun, experience life, to step into his superstar element.

I’ve been shying away from it the past three years as a blown, established artiste, I think its time for me to step out of shell to enjoy the fame I’ve worked for over the past few years”.
