Top Nigerian rapper Vector has disclosed in an interview that his beef with his colleague rapper MI Abaga brought him much money.

The beef of the two rappers; Vector and MI Abaga was one of the most talked-about in the entertainment industry as both diss each other using songs. MI realized a diss track for Vector in October 2019. In the same month, Vector hit back with his diss track called Judas the rat.

The two are now friends after they were put on the same alcoholic brand. Speaking in an interview with Sky News, Vector disclosed how he made money from the beef with MI Abaga.

“Yes I made money from the beef tracks I did for MI. The records sold. There seems to be a ‘sweetness’ that comes with beef records. So they were streamed a lot. We trended at number 2 in the US, both verses trended at number one on, Genius, the lyrics website. Which means that Nigerians can write what the whole world can read and understand and we will trend. So yes, there was that,” he said.
