Kuami Eugene ever since he emerged into the music scene has been accused by some of his colleagues as well as his naysayers within the digital space of stealing the works of other musicians and passing it as his own work.

A number of musicians including a Nigerian musician have all pointed fingers at the Lynx Entertainment signee of stealing their songs as well as sampling others without their permission.

During an interview on BTM Africa, Kuami Eugene responded to these accusations by saying he never samples or steals any song from any musician but he only makes references to what other musicians said in their songs as a way of appreciating them.

He lamented that the moment he lays references to what has been done by other musicians, Ghanaians quickly presume he has sampled from them but he cannot explain himself to anyone anymore.
