I Don’t Believe In Tithing – Evangelist Gemann

Ace Ghanaian musician now turned pastor, Nana Gemann Nana Kwesi Agyemang also known popularly as G Love Gemann has said that he does not believe in tithing.

According to the evangelist, paying of tithe is no longer relevant in modern-day Christianity hence his church does not accept tithes from its members.

Speaking in an interview on Asaase Radio, he stated that as a full-time worker, he does not see why he should take monies from his members as tithe.

“We don’t even take tithes in my church because I don’t believe in tithes, It is in the old testament based on the fact that the Levites were not to work. That’s why they needed tithes to survive. I have a full-time job so why should I take someone’s money?” he quizzed.

A tithe is a one-tenth part of something, paid as a contribution to a religious organization or compulsory tax to the government.

Gemann is a well-known pop artist in the 90s until he was arrested and found guilty of shooting a taxi driver and spent 14-years in prison until he was granted a pardon.
