I dissed my school’s Vice Chancellor in a track – Blaqbonez spills

Nigerian rapstar, Emeka ”Blaqbonez” Akumefule, has revealed that when he was starting his rap career while studying at Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU) Ile Ife, he dissed his Vice Chancellor.

He admitted that he was reckless when he was much younger which was why he dissed not only his VC but some top musicians.

According to Blaqbonez, he dropped diss tracks for Lil Kesh and Adekunle Gold after they performed at a show in OAU.

He made this known while being interviewed by Podcaster and content creator, Taymesan on the Tea With Taymesan podcast.

He recounted how he dissed Lil Kesh in a track the next monring after the former YBNL artiste performed, because he was not impressed.

The ‘Commander’ crooner also said that he did similar thing for Adekunle Gold by dropping a diss track by 6 am the next days because he thought AG’s performance was not impressive.

The Hip Hop artiste said the reason he did all that was his own way of letting the VC, Adekunle Gold and others know that they were messing up.

Meawhile, CorrectNG reported earlier that he revealed that his stage name, Blaqbonez used to belong to a friend.

According to the Chocolate City artiste, he stole the name from his friend because was not using it for anything serious.

Blaqbonez stated this while speaking on Tea with Taymesan podcast as he talked to his pal about it before he started using the name.

He said the guy likes listening to rap songs but he does not rap, so he decided to adopt the name.

The ‘Haba crooner’ said the name adoption happened many years ago when he was still in school.
