I admire Olamide because he’s like me – Burna Boy says in resurfaced video

Amid the praises that rapper, Olamide has been receiving from colleagues in recent times, Nigerian Afrobeats and dancehall star, Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy has been captured on tape speaking on why he loves the YBNL boss.

Speaking in an throwback interview from 2016 which is currently making the rounds online, Burna Boy lauded Olamide for possessing qualities he believes he are similar to his.

The Grammy award winner, said he admires the Wo crooner for being one of the few people who isn’t scared of doing what he wants

He said that he loves that the rap star sets his mind on something and works towards achieving his goal.

Just recently, Zlatan Ibile praised Olamide for being really instrumental to the success of many artistes in the industry.

The Lagos Anthem hit maker said that Hip Hop superstar is a life changer who helped many artistes become stars.

He hailed the YBNL Nation founder for helping him and other artistes like Naira Marley, Fireboy DML and Adekunle Gold.

While speaking with friends, Zlatan Ibile listed musicians that Olamide uplifted and noted that he does not brag or seek accolades for all does. He said that Olamide never speaks about how many people he helps.

He recounted how the ‘Wo’ crooner called him at the early stage of his career for them to record his first song, and thy traveled to another state.

Zlatan said he was in disbelief while he was in the studio with Olamide because he never thought he would have such an opportunity.

Other artistes that he said Baddo has given platforms to thrive include, Ycee, Dotman, Young John, Pheelz and Asake.
