Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has heaped praises on Afrobeat specialist, Davido for always going out of his way to extend helping hands to just anybody that needs it.
The actress trumpeted the virtues of the singer and father of three saying he helped people at the grassroots, despite the fact that he was an international star.
Davido had earlier announced his upcoming event at the O2 Arena in London and Abraham reposted it with the caption; “Omo nla! (big child). Everyone go support my lil brother @davido! Show him the love you’ve shown me! Will be there live and direct ! See you!”
Fans of rival musicians sprouted to slam Toyin for throwing support behind OBO but she quickly reminded of the true substance of Davido and why they should take the chill pill and relax.
Toyin Abraham wrote; “These people don’t know that David @davido was there for me when I needed him.
“He didn’t think of me as being grassroot when he decided to help me, and now the world needs to know that one good turn deserves another.
He’s international now but still relates with the grassroots, and this would continue to pave way for him because we recognize real people and David is one
All these people attacking are just not intelligent people because almost every artist in Nigeria started off as a grassroot.
“Let David continue to be the supporter that he is and this is only just the beginning of his greatness, and he should also know that I love him so much.”
