Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo sheds tears while walking down the aisle in church

Popular Nigerian gospel musician, Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa have held their white wedding.

The much talked-about church wedding took place in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on Saturday, August 13th 2022.

Mercy, who was dressed in a beautiful flowing dress, became overtly emotional while walking down the aisle.

Tears flowed down her cheeks as she walked into the church in the company of her relative and to the admiration of dignitaries.

Her hubby, Blessed, dressed in a grey suit with dark shades was supported by his best man, music executive and singer, Banky W.

The couple later held a grand reception at an event centre in the city, where they treated guests to sumptuous meals and beautiful music from a live band and Disc Jockey.

Also, Banky W and his wife were among personalities that attended Mercy and Chinwo’s traditional wedding ceremony.

It may be recalled they got engaged engaged in June. and held their introduction ceremony in July, 2022 and it was the talk of the town.⁣

Meanwhile, Mercy had announced her engagement in a post on her official social media page.

“I am blessed to be blessed with @theofficialblessed ❤️ The thoughts of doing the next phase and the rest phase of my life with you makes the blessing more real? I love you Sweet❤️,” she wrote.⁣
