‘Ghanaians Have To Applaud Us For Always Fighting In Parliament’ – MP Claims

One of the major talking points this year was Ghanaian members of parliament fighting in parliament.

Many Ghanaians have lambasted them for these attitudes, however, one Ghanaian member of parliament is saying they need to be applauded instead of lambasted.

The Ghanaian MP who made this statement is the member of parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai MP, Alfred Obeng Boateng.

According to him, the fights in the Chamber are a result of a genuine desire by both the majority and minority sides to safeguard the public’s interest.

He made this known in a recent submission with a JoyNews and he said;

“I’m sure everybody knows that what went on, I mean that extend was wrong but we should also appreciate the fact that we have two watch men watching your property so even though the two watchmen you saw them fighting, you should also find out the intention.”
