Ghana Police Service Reacts To Alleged Assault Of A Journalist By A Police Officer

Earlier today, we made a report about the alleged assault of a journalist by a police officer.

In the report, the journalist stated that one police officer attacked him over a misunderstanding and the confrontation left him will a bruised mouth which he had to take to the hospital.

In his post, he stated tagged the Ghana Police Service and this has gotten the attention of the service. Reacting to the claim, the police wrote;

The Sekondi District Police Command is investigating an alleged assault on one Solomon Amankwah, a sports journalist working with Atinka Media Village Western Region by General Lance Corporal Prince Mensah of the Regional CID Operations and Intelligence Unit.
