Forex trader sparks reactions after saying he upgraded his mother’s roadside shop to shopping mall

A young forex trader has revealed that he gave his mum’s business a major boost by building a shopping mall for her in Lagos state.

The man simply known as Chidi took to Twitter to show off the mall which he said is located around Grace Anjous, Road15.

He celebrated the fact that he was able to give his mother an upgrade from selling in a roadside shop to owning a mall.

He also posted a photo of her former shop and the mall as he gave glory to God for making the change possible.

Chidi with handle @davidjideofo captioned; ”Finally Upgraded my mom’s small shop to a Shopping Mall. It’s only God !!?”

However, netizens called him out for chasing clout as some noted that it is the work of photoshop. Others said that they recognise the mall in the photo and it is located in Enugu not Lagos state.

Similarly, few months ago a Nigerian man identified as Donatus Chima showed how proud of himself he was for building a beautiful house for his parents.

He took to his social media page to show off the edifice which he said he was able to start and finish with the help of foreign exchange (Forex).

According to Donatus, reaching the current stage of completion of the structure was a long journey for him.

He expressed gratitude that he decided to remain resolute in his pursuant of his hustle which eventually paid off for him.

Sharing a photo of the crib on his Twitter page, Donatus wrote;

”Finally completed this structure for my Dad and Mom❤️

A really long journey but I’m grateful I never gave up on my hustle. Forex was the key to my dreams.”
