Afrobeat artist, David Adeleke, popularly called Davido has criticized outgoing Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola for failing to congratulate his uncle on his victory.
Recall that Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, ran for office as a candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and he beat Oyetola, the current governor, who ran as a candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Davido questioned Governor Oyetola about why he has still not congratulated the newly elected governor.
Davido emphasized that despite his uncle’s loss in 2018, he continued to offer him his congrats. Davido advised the departing governor to act morally.
The “Fem” singer responded to the news that Oyetola had filed a petition with the Osun Election Tribunal in another post by writing, “O LULE PART 2 loading, defeat is terrible.”
