Davido walks runway for Puma at New York Fashion Week

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has graced the state at the ongoing New York Fashion Week.

The NY Fashion Week, is a bi-annual event usually hosted in February and September where international fashion brans showcase their new collections to buyers, the press, and the general public.

The 2nd edition for this year is holding between September 9 to September 14, and popular sportswear brand, Puma was among the showcase.

One of the highlights of the night was when award-winning singer, Davido wore a Pum outfit and walked the runway.

He is an ambassador of the global brand which also launched Black Station, a 3D spatial playground, in a bid to create a unique web3 space that will enable the NFT community to have a personal experience.

A video making the rounds online shows when OBo walked confidently on the runway while spotting on a hat.

Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported earlier that American entrepreneur and reality star, Kendall Jenner met Davido in New York, USA.

Both celebrities were in the Big apple to attend the New York Fashion Week, and they exchanged pleasantries upon meeting.

A designer known as Marni, who is friends with Davido and Kendall, was having a spring show in Brooklyn and they showed up to offer support.

In a video making the rounds on social media, OBO and Kim Kardashian’s sister posed while photographers snapped them.

During the runaway walk, Kendall was spotted sitting in the front row with Marni and veteran British journalist, Anna Wintour.
