Nigerian Afrobeat musician, David Adeleke, well known as Davido will be celebrating his 10 years music journey tomorrow.

Davido within his 10 years journey in the music scene has been identified as one of the best entertainers so far as African music is concerned. His years of impact and enormous contribution to the music industry in Africa have been exceptional which makes him one of the few to promote the African culture to the world.
Davido founded Davido Music Worldwide(DMW) a few months after signing with Sony and this meted mixed reactions from his fans and other music lovers on social media. In 2016, he signed a record deal with RCA records.
In 2011, Davido began work on his debut studio album, Omo Baba Olowo. The music on the album is a blend of Afrobeats and hip hop. The album was produced by Davido, Jay Sleek, Maleek Berry, GospelOnDeBeatz, Spellz, Dokta Frabz, Mr. Chidoo, Theory Soundz, and Shizzi.
Davido became the first African-based musician to win his award on the BET Awards main stage on June 24, 2018. Hollywood actor Omari Hardwick and actress Tika Sumpter presented him with his award. In his award address, he advised patrons and artists from the United States to visit Africa and sample the cuisine.
In all his musical journey, Davido has won a Soul Train Award, 3 Kora Awards, 4 BET Awards, 8 MTV Europe Music Awards, 9 African Muzik Magazine Awards, 10 MTV Africa Music Awards, 6 Dynamix All Youth Awards, 7 MOBO Awards, 2 The Future Africa Awards as well as other awards.
Well, the singer will be celebrating his 10 years musical journey with his loyal fans. In a post he made on Instagram, Davido stated that he has encountered a lot of trials and tribulations in his music journey and as such, he needs to celebrate his success.
