Davido hints at signing young artiste who did cover of Electricity

Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has recognised the talent of a young artiste known as Boi Chase.

The up and coming singer made a cover video of Rema’s refix of Davido and Pheelz’s hit song, Electricity, which impressed the DMW boss.

Davido, on seeing the clip, acknowledged how good he is and noted that he’s found someone notable to offer assistance to.

This comes months after he revealed plans to sign new artistes to DMW in 2022 during an interview with Miss Becks.

Sharing a video of Chase singing a remix of Electricity, Davido wrote; ‘‘Ok @callmeboichase think I’ve found A GUY ??”

He reacted in excitement after seeing himself on OBO’s verified Twitter page.

‘‘Goddddddd????????OBO just posted me,” Boi Chase wrote.

Similarly, CorrectNG reported that Davido reacted to the signing of Bayanni to Mavin Records.

Bayanni is a fan of the DMW boss who went viral months ago after doing a cover of Davido’s Jowo.

CorrectNG reported that Nigerian music executive, Michael Collins Ajere aka Don Jazzy announced the signing of a new artiste to Mavin Records named, Bayanni.

The record label founder took to his Twitter account on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 to unveil the singer who is formerly known as Zhenoboy.

Don Jazzy shared a video of the moment Bayanni was undergoing medicals and subsequently welcomed to the Mavins family.

He wrote; ”It’s that time again when we bring to you another young talent from the Mavin Academy. Meet BAYANNI. He has gone through series of defining moments and is ready to be unveiled to the world.

Pls Welcome @itsbayanni, the newest MAVIN.”

The Don also posted a throwback video of the new signee singing over the beat of Fireboy’s hit song, Peru with the caption; ”Be wetting your appetite before new music drops. #MavinActivated @itsbayanni”

In reaction, OBO declared that he is happy for the opportunity give to Bayanni and he prayed for Jazzy to be blessed.

Quoting Don Baba J’s tweet, Davido wrote; ”So happy for him …. ❤️? God bless u don baba”

The music producer then thanked him for the prayer and positive words. He noted that Bayanni will always be like a younger brother to Davido.

It may be recalled that Bayanni met the DMW boss when he was still going by the name, Zhenoboy.

Jazzy quoted OBO’s tweet and wrote; ‘‘Amennn. Thanks baddest. With you he has a senior brother. ?????? ??”
