Davido expresses desire to credit all his friends $1 million

Ace musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has stated what he ultimately hopes to do for his friends.

The award-winning singer took to his Twitter account to say that he wants to be able to give all his friends the sum of $1 million.

Davido, who expressed optimism on Saturday night, said that his desire will to wake up on a good day and credit his frinds will become reality.

He tweeted; ”One day I wanna be able to wake up and credit all my friends 1 million dollars … e go happen.”

Meanwhile the Afrobeats artiste, had months ago offered to support small business owners in the country with N20 million.

He announced that he wanted to distribute N20m to 20 people with great business or startup ideas.

The ‘FIA’ hit maker ade this known in a post on Twitter, noting that the idea was to ease the hardship many Nigerians are experiencing.

Davido, who admitted that the country is in a difficult place, asked interested persons to pitch their business or start up ideas to him and he will pick the lucky beneficiaries.

He stated that he would give an update soon, however, months after making the promise, he is yet to give an update or fulfil his promise.

Davido wrote; “Country hard right now sha … let’s give 20 m to 20 pple on Friday … send in your business ideas or start-up ideas … more details shortly #Wrblo”

Ever since he made the tweet, Twitter comentator and influencer, Daniel Regha has made it a duty to remind him about the promise from time to time.

There was a time that Regha gave him an advise on how best to use the money instead of sharing it to people.

”Davido instead of gifting 20m to 20 people, visit hospitals, schools plus social media platforms (including ur comment sections) & use the money to foot the bills of those who urgently need financial assistance; Cos majority of people here will misuse the money if given to ’em,” he wrote.

In response, OBO said; ”Mr Daniel if you have ur own 20’million Naira use it how you want and pls change ur dp that shit mad annoying”.
