Nwosu Chuka, a staff of the State Local Government Service Commission, was detained by men from the Delta state police command for reportedly hypnotizing and raped a 13-year-old girl to death.
At a motel in Issele-Uku, Aniocha North Local Council of the state, the victim was allegedly raped to death. After weeks of rapping Miss Joy Nwabueze Onua, who allegedly bled to death, the suspect surrendered to the police.

According to police sources, Chuka confessed to the murder before being arrested at Asaba’s State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
It was learned that the deceased has been sent to the FMC mortuary in Asaba. Mrs. Kevwe Agas, Chairman of the Delta State Child Welfare Implementation Committee, told reporters that the Committee was awaiting a police report.
“When the case of death of a 13-year-old rape victim, (names withheld) got to us, our team of investigators were sent to gather information for the committee. We have done our report, now are awaiting the police to commence legal action.”she said
The Spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident saying investigations are underway and the suspect would be processed for court in no time.
