Mr. Macaroni, who is also an advocate for human rights, stated that he is not currently planning to enter politics or seek for government.

In a recent interview, the content creator revealed this while reliving his suffering at the hands of police officers after being detained in February 2021 during the #OccupyLekkiTollGate demonstration, which was intended to thwart the planned reopening of the toll plaza in Lagos.

The Lekki toll gate was shut down following the #EndSARS protest in October 2020 as a result of the shooting of nonviolent protesters who gathered there.

Macaroni claims that when he and other protesters were detained, police took them to the station and stripped them of all of their clothing.

He described how the security guards brutally attacked him in an effort to “teach him a lesson” for questioning the existing quo.

The creator of the clip claimed that the incident increased his rage and gave him the confidence to question those in positions of authority, including the governor.

Additionally, Mr. Macaroni claimed that while he was in that circumstance, the police reprimanded him for insulting Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the state governor.

He claimed that the officers’ threat and reference of the governor gave him the impression that they had the support of the Lagos governor in their treatment of him.

He did, however, emphasize his mother’s efforts to get him to scale back his activity. He added that after witnessing such inhumane treatment, he felt bad for the country, but he had grown stronger as a result of the experience.

The actor claimed that Mr. Macaroni and Debo are different from him due to the character’s personality.

He went on to say that if he ever witnessed someone being treated unfairly, he would confront the abusers.
