Chizzy and Rachel will be in the BBNaija house till the finale – Big Brother confirms

Big Brother Naija season 7 riders, Rachel and Chizzy will remain in the BBNaija house until the last day.

This was made known by Big Brother Naija via its official Twitter account on Monday, September 5, 2022.

This follows concerns raised by fans about the actual purpose of the duo since they were not in the game as fake or real housemates.

During the live nominations on Monday evening, some housemates nominated Rachel and Chizzy because they are unaware of their status as riders.

Though they are not permitted to nominate real housemates, Biggie still puts up a facade by inviting them into the diary room to mention names of housemates just to make others believe they’re real housemates, though their votes would not count.

This left fans confused as to how they would be evicted and they took to social media to ask questions.

Giving clarification, Big Brother via its Twitter handle @BBNaija wrote; ”Chizzy and Rachel are Riders and will therefore be on the show till the last day. #BBNaija”.

Recall that in line with the usual practice, eight housemates were nominated for possible eviction next Sunday.

The nominated housemates are Bryann, Bella, Phyna, Doyin, Chomzy, Eloswag and the two riders, Chizzy and Rachel.

But being that the riders are not real housemates, they were exempted from the list of those who risk being evicted on Sunday.

Hermes won the Head of House on Monday, and just as the rules of the game states, he was tasked by Biggie to use his veto power to save and replace.

He saved Adekunle who was initially nominated and replaced him with Bryann.

Big Brother announced that at least one of them would be leaving during the Sunday live eviction.

Following his emergence as HOH at the games, the blonde-haired entertainer was asked to pick a female to enjoy the exclusive HOH lounge and he chose Allysyn.

Also, the new position means that Hermes automatically got immunity from nominations for the week. However, the same privilege was not extended to Allysyn.

Meanwhile, Sheggz who was the tail of house with Allysyn last week retained his title for week seven.
