Renowned Nigerian content creator and comedian, Carter Efe is having a good run with his latest output, “Machala”.

The young talented comedian who’s known for his obsession for the Starboy Entertainment boss, Wizkid on Friday, July 29, 2022 dropped an amazing piece of music tagged, ‘Machala’ featuring young emerging singer, Berri Tiga.

“Machala”, produced by rising beat-smith X, which happens to be a tribute song to the Grammy award winning act, Wizkid debuted on Apple Music charts in several countries across the globe and also at number one on Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria. Screenshot below.

Well, the buzzing record in less than a month of its release has debuted on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs Chart. ‘Machala’ currently occupies the 14th spot on the music chart. See screenshot below.

Meanwhile: Buzzing Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, known professionally as Oxlade has shot down an unpopular opinion.

Nigerian music fans are always sure to spark up a conversation and this time, it’s an Oxlade and Wande Coal comparison. The sensational Nigerian recording and performing artiste, Oxlade has reacted to the comparison.

A social media user, ‘@vantage_suite, took to the bird app to spark a conversation. He Tweeted; “Unpopular opinion: Oxlade has a better singing voice and vocal range than Wande coal”, a post which has sparked debate on Twitter.

The ‘Ojuju’ crooner reacted to the tweet. According to Oxlade, Wande Coal has been a major music inspiration to him hence the comparison was needless. “Very unpopular and a big cap . Learnt everything from that man. Let’s dead this narative please ????”, Oxlade replied. Screenshot below.
