Burna Boy launches Cannabis business in America

Top Nigerian Dancehall and Afrobeats artistes, Damini Ogulu also known as Burna Boy has unveiled his Cannabis brand ‘BrkFst’ in Miami, USA.

The Cannabis sale and distribution business was established following the success of his hit single “Last Last”, which is said to have been a major inspiration for the idea.

According to Black Cannabis Magazine, Burna Boy’s BrkFst brand is a product of a partnership with Jokes Up/ Ice Kream, and it was launched October 15 in South Beach, Miami, Florida.

The singer had earlier criticised the Nigerian government over the ban on cannabis in the country, describing the decision as “dumb”.

It was gathered that the launch of Burna’s Cannabis set up, coincided with Miami Carnival and it started with a Pop Up from 12- 3, followed by brunch at a Miami Diner from 3:30-7.

There was also a team representing Burna Boy at the all-white-themed Tipsy Musical Festival at Bayfront Park, which he headlined.

Meanwhile, Senior pastor, Oikia Christian Centre Yaba, Lagos, Femi Olaleye, earlier reacted to a video of a lady smoking weed on social media.

The girl simply known as Lollilop on microblogging platform, Twitter, shared a video of her vibing to Asake’s song while heavily smoking cannabis.

She demonstrated different ways of smoking and showed off a variety of marijuana strains which she loves taking.

In reaction to the video, Olaleye, spoke words of affirmation and declared that he sees a woman wo is loved by God and that has been hurt by many people.

He mentioned how one of the things he sees when he watches the clip, is a woman for whom Jesus Christ gave his life.

The cleric further said that what he observed is that she is doing all she can to stand strong and get over all her past trauma and struggles.

He further stated that irrespective of whatever vice she is engaged in, he still sees Christ in the young lady.

Pastor Olaleye wrote; ”When I see this video , I see a woman who God loves and Christ died for . I see a woman who many have hurt but she is still doing all she can to stand strong . I see this woman in Christ because eventually Christ will live within her . Gods hand is on you ma ❤️”
