Bring Nigerian doctors to test her again – BBNaija’s Leo reacts to Blessing Okagbare’s disqualification from Tokyo Olympics after failing drug test

Big Brother Naija 2018 ex-housemate, Leo Babarinde DaSilva has reacted to the disqualification of Nigerian athlete, Blessing Okagbare from Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

We reported earlier that Okagbare, was suspended from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics after she failed a drug test.

The Athletics Integrity Unit, AIU, revealed that the 2008 Beijing Olympics silver medalist tested positive for a banned substance – human growth hormone.

The anti-doping body said Okagbare tested positive for the prohibited substance in an out-of-competition test on July 19 – four days before the Olympics opened.

Reacting to the development, Leo suggested that Nigerian doctors be allowed to run the test on Okagbare one more time.

He wrote; ”Test Blessing Okagbare again. Bring our own doctors to test her too.”
