According to reports filed by GhanaWaeekend, the singer cum radio presenter made his intentions known during a live show on Wednesday, 29th December. He stated that Friday 31st December will be his last time hosting a show on Zylofon FM.

Blakk Rasta says he will use the remaining of his day to venture into other businesses. However, Blakk Rasta expressed his profound gratitude to his colleagues, listeners, and boss, NAM1 for making his stay at Zylofon a fruitful one.

As a reminder, Blakk Rasta joined Zylofon FM after parting ways with Hitz FM four years ago. He was a staunch proponent of Zylofon Media and its CEO Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), whose financial firm, Menzgold, was compelled to cease operations by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for failing to comply with the country’s financial rules.

In other news, Ghanaian US-based rapper, Sam Sarfo, well known as Showboy has implied that Kwesi Arthur is the only young rapper in the music scene doing great music for Ghanaians while his colleagues like Medikal and the rest are just fooling.

Showboy, commenting on the Shatta Wale-Nigerian artists squabble, said Ghana should bring back Kwesi Arthur for the BET Awards since he’s the only young rapper creating decent music so far, while the rest are simply joking.

He claims that the Tema-based rapper is way better than most young rappers in the scene who are claiming to be the best. Well, this sounds like an indirect shade to the likes of Medikal, Strongman, and others who are claiming to be the best in the rap scene.
