Big Brother Naija 2023 to have Nigerian, South African housemates

Organisers of Big Brother Naija have announced that next year’s edition will introduce a a new dimension that would see Nigerian and South Africans living together.

Ceo of Multichoice Nigeria, John Ugbe made this at the MultiChoice Media Showcase event in Lagos on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

He described it as a special editions which is like a combination of Afrobeats and Amapiano.

He explained that they wish to explore the love-hate relationship between Nigeria and South Africa and the season 8 would be ‘explosive’.

Ugbe added that the reality TV, which will be the most exciting season, will be happening “sometime next year”.

Meanwhile, Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Bella says she does not intend to bottle her feelings for love-interest, Sheggz.

She admitted that she really likes Sheggz and is not bothered about what other housemates think or say about their relationship.

Bella made this known while having a conversation with Doyin in the garden on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

She said that if the only good thing that comes out from her participation in the show is her relatioship with Sheggz, then she is comfortable with that reality.

On Tuesday, Biggie issued warnings to Bella and Sheggz for sabotaging the people they were paired with to carry out tasks in the house.

It has become a habit for the love birds to give off attitudes and act lackadaisical whenever they are put in separate groups.

Speaking on the warning Biggie issued, Bella said she would focus and put in more efforts when it comes to daily activities.

The entrepreneur further stated that she asked her friend is there is a rule or blueprint to winning the grand prize of N100m which the winner would take home.

She said he is someone she trusts and she would take joy in knowing that she left with someone good irrespective of whether she wins or not.

On her part, Doyin said that sometimes finding a special person might just be as big a price as N100 million.

She said that if a couple find each other, they can build something great together and even go ahead to make money together.
