Being Childless At Age 40 Is Not Easy – Nana Ama McBrown

Astute Ghanaian actress and television presenter, Nana Ama McBrown has opened up on her private life and the difficulties she passed through as a childless wife.

Nana Ama McBrown in an interview on the Obranewoaa show on GHOne TV narrated some painful events she passed through after she became desperate to have her own child. She emphasized that no woman in her 40s will be happy to be childless.

Nana Ama McBrown disclosed during the interview that she had to wash her womb on six different occasions due to desperation for a child before God blessed her in 2019 with her daughter.

According to her, women in their 40s and are still in expectant are very sensitive to words and easily break down whenever people use kids to shade them. She added that people in such a state think a lot and cry in their rooms. She urged everyone to be kind with words when communicating with such people.

Nana Ama disclosed that a lot of people in such a state try to cover up their childlessness by trying to prove they are strong but most cry and others feel depressed. She disclosed how traumatized she was when she was childless and ended up washing her womb six times before she finally conceived her daughter Maxine.
