American R&B singer, Selena Gomez has heaped praises on Nigerian musician, Rema over his personality and demeanor.

The award-winning songstress said that Rema is a very calming person to be around, adding that he also has a kind heart.

Speaking on their working relationship, the actress said that the energy flowing through Rema’s voice and his actions could be felt while they recorded and filmed together.

Recall that Selena recently hopped on the remix of his hit song ‘Calm Down’ and they shot an accompanying music video.

The 30-year-old ex-girlfriend of American pop star, Justin Bieber also said that the 22-year-old Nigerian singer is very kind.

In other news, Rema recently met American pop music icon, Madonna for the first time and she was filled with praises for him.

The meeting happened backstage after his electrifying performance at the Raves and Roses concert in New York, USA.

In a video which is circulating on social media, the two musicians could be seen greeting each other warmly.

They firstly shared a deep hug after which Madonna asked if the star had fun, and he answered in the affirmative.

She said; “I’m very proud of you and I love you. You’re a great performer.”

On his part, Rema also disclosed how much he admires the pop Queen, stating that she was a great inspiration to him.
