#BBNaija: The media is trying to pull me and Bella apart – Sheggz (Video)

Immediate past Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Sheggz, has accused the Nigerian media of trying to cause a rift between him and Bella.

He made the statement while being interviewed on Naija FM during his post-eviction media rounds with Hermes and Groovy.

Sheggz said that he finds it offensive that people are spreading the narrative that he was with her as part of a strategy to remain in the game.

He also clarified that he was not preventing her from mingling with other people, because they were always together, so it means that they both didn’t mingle with other housemates.

Sheggz affirmed that what he has with the fashion entrepreneur is true love and not a game.

The UK-based footballer said he feels all the comments targeted at him and Bella’s relationship is an attempt by the media to pull them apart.

Meanwhile, he earlier urged fans to appreciate him for the nice things he did for Bella while in the house, saying that he is being judged unfairly.

Speaking with host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during a post eviction interview, the ex-housemate said that every good deed towards Bella was not shown on TV which is why people are judging him harshly.

Sheggz was evicted during the Sunday Live show alongside Groovy and Hermes.

He noted that he made her breakfast, tied her shoe laces, prayed for her in the mornings and did other kind thoughtful gesture which were not aired.

The footballer further said that he does not want people to focus on the few times he erred as 9 percent of his time with Bella, were fond memories.

Sheggz, however admitted, that he is young and still learning how to handle relatinship matters.

“I’m just 26, I’m still learning and open to relationship lessons…. It’s sad people didn’t see all the good things I did for Bella”, he said.
