BBNaija star, Angel has penned down an emotional but lovely piece to remember victims of the #EndSARS brouhaha that happened a year ago.
To mark the one year anniversary of the massacre that happened at the Lekki Toll Gate, Nigerian celebrities took to their various social media handles to make a post to remember the victims and joining the tall list, Angel made a post which reads;
“The sky will be plain blue tonight, no jewels decorating it, eyes will glisten but it will be because of the tears, the heavens will call for everything heavy to drop and with wide eyes we will watch our hearts fall to the ground and when grief starts to play it’s tune, we will dance, freely moving.
Today, we will light candles and whisper their names hoping that it serves as a balm for their souls. Today, we will light candles hoping the illumination will continue to be a guide to peace. Today, we will light candles and whisper their names hoping that they feel the outpour of love.
Today, we will light candles hoping that they see the light and remember that they could never be forgotten, not in this life, not even when we die.
May the souls of all those we lost rest in the most perfect peace. Peace that is permanent, Peace that is a huge burst of light.”
