ASUU strike: Lady celebrates over inability to resume school as flood blocks road to her University

A young lady has shared a discovery that comes with a mixed feeling of frustration and jubilation relating to the possible reopening of school as a result of ASUU’s announcement that its strike has been called.

Recall that the Academic Student of Universities called off its 8-month-long strike on Friday, October 14, 2022.

However, as universities prepare to resume academic activities, a young lady has revealed that she and many others like her might have challenges going back because flood has taken over the road she would need to use while traveling.

The student shared a video which captured the major highway leading to her school which was been completely overtaken by flood.

Similarly, a Nigerian girl who had flown to the United Kingdom during the ASUU strike has returned following the news of its suspension.

She revealed that she fly into Nigeria to commence school shortly after learning that ASUU called off strike.

The young student known as @mimii_chi on TikTok shared a video which showed her looking unhappy as she traveled back.

She captured the moment she entered a bus heading to the airport and the moment she draged her bag at the lobby, up to when she boarded the international flight.

The video also showed when Mimi arrived Nigeria and had to drive through a flooded road while going home.

On reaching her house, she just landed on the bed and went to sleep as she said goodbye to London. The pretty lady also noted that it is usually a nightmare flying home from abroad.
