The anti-gay commission led by the member of parliament representing the Ningo-Prampram constituency, Hon. Sam Nartey George aims at criminalizing the practice of homosexuality in Ghana. Sam George being the head of the club has faced a lot of criticism from advocates of the LGBTQi community.

Some celebs like Sister Derby, Pappy Kojo, Lydia Forson, Wanluv Kuborlor among others have been the main oppossors of the anti-gay bill, lambasting the MP on his quest to eradicate the practice from the country.

Afia Schwarzenegger has taken a swipe at the committee, saying that the members must aim at amending the constitution of the land in order to better the loves of the average Ghanaian.

According to her, it is nobody’s business if someone decides to engage in LGBTQ activities because the practice has no effect on the economy and the growth of the country. She claims that should the anti-gay bill be passed, then another bill should be passed to regulate the MPs having affairs with young ladies since they are all classified as immoral acts.
