De Mthuda – The Landlord Album Zip Download.
A few hours from now, De Mthuda’s latest album will hit Digital music stores in South Africa but those East of the world are already dancing to it’s tunes. De Mthuda comes through with his second project this year, The Landlord Album.
The Landlord is a follow-up to Ace Of Spades Reshuffle which was released in January. The tracklist features 12 songs and boats of appearances from our favorites, Njelic, Da Muziqal Chef, Mkeyz, Just Bheki, Focalistic, Sino Msolo, Nomfundo, Mthunzi and of course Murumba Pitch.

It is only fitting that this album starts out with Emlanjeni. Many will argue and agree that this song deserves to be the song of the year, and perhaps the best on this particular project. Emlanjeni features the very soulful touching voice of Sir Trill with contributions from Da Muziqal Chef. At the time when it first played on the Balcony mix, this song drew tears from listeners. It is perhaps one of the most soulful songs we have heard all year.
The album runs through quickly highlighting the development of Mthuda’s sound over the years. It took the producer a while before he dropped this album so the expectations from fans were pretty much this one. Whether or not he has disappointed his fan base will remain to be determined in the coming days and weeks.
