“Accidents That Have Taken Lives And Destroyed Properties And Homes Could Be Avoided But…”-Stonebwoy On Bogoso Massive Explosion

BET award-winning dancehall crooner, Livingstone Etse Satekla, universally known in the entertainment scene as Stonebwoy has also reacted to the current tragedy that befell the people of Appiatse in the Western Region.

Stonebwoy while praying for victims who have lost their lives and properties during the massive explosion which allegedly claimed the lives of over 100 people stated that uncertainties like this could be avoided.

According to the dancehall maestro, accidents such as this explosion that have claimed the lives of many destroyed so many properties and misplaced a lot of residents from their homes could be avoided only on a condition.

Taking to his Twitter page, Stonebwoy wrote;

As a reminder, the explosion that claimed the lives of dozens of people happened on Thursday at Appiatse, a suburb at Bogoso in the Western region of Ghana. According to the MCE of Prestea Huni-Valley, he was told of the news and that excavators were deployed to the spot to rescue trapped bodies after a number of buildings fell in a statement to TV3’s George Kwening on Thursday, January 20.

According to police, the explosion was triggered by a collision between a mining explosive vehicle moving from Tarkwa to Chirano mines and a motorcycle.
