A beautiful Nigerian woman was crowned Miss Nigeria at the recently concluded event that took place on Friday, December 17, 2021.

This year’s beauty pageant saw thousands of people attending the annual ceremony to witness the crowning of an 18-year-old Hijab model, Shatu Garko as Miss Nigeria 2021.

The horse-riding lover, who represented the North West region of Nigeria during the pageant, is the first hijab-wearing model to wear the Miss Nigeria crown.

Shatu Garko hails from Kano State and is the youngest among 18 contestants who contested for the crown. Shatu Garko beat 17 other contestants to win the national beauty pageant. She is the first hijab-wearing model to win the Miss Nigeria pageant.
